How we’re celebrating Soho House Rome turning five

Rome5

As we mark half a decade, we look back at how the city’s history, culinary traditions and atmosphere continue to shape our Italian club

Monday 12 October 2026   By Chloe Moss

Soho House Rome, our first House in Italy, found its home in 2021 in the vibrant San Lorenzo quarter – an area of the city known for its nightlife and culture. Honouring the capital’s ancient history and artistic DNA, it spans 10 storeys within a Brutalist building that opens to inviting club spaces and places for members to retreat, with everything from a secluded rooftop pool and a wraparound terrace with 360-degree views of the city.

Featuring 49 bedrooms and 20 long-stay apartments, a gym, a Cowshed spa, and an extensive collection of contemporary Italian art, alongside co-working spaces and areas to connect, it offers a signature Soho House experience set within the walls of a city steeped in history.

Central to the House is its food and drink, with two dining options offering thoughtfully curated menus and uniquely Italian flavours.

Cecconi’s Terrazza
With locations across the globe, the beloved Italian restaurant made its way home when Soho House Rome opened its doors, located within the lemon tree orchard on the rooftop. With panoramic views of the city, its wraparound terrace is the ideal spot to enjoy Rome’s terracotta rooftops, ancient ruins and architecture, setting the scene for a menu of Northern Italian classics.

Expect traditional cicchetti, including Zucchini Fritti drizzled with fresh lemon juice, Artichoke alla Romana and Meatballs in a tomato and basil sauce, as well as Venetian classics like Carpaccio and Tartare, and Stracciatella with fresh mint. Handmade pasta, seafood and wood-fired pizzas complete the menu – all best enjoyed with a glass of Vermentino, followed by a poolside Negroni.

The House menu
Served in the ninth-floor restaurant and available throughout the day, the House menu brings together House Regulars and Roman specialties. Global member favourites, including mainstays like the TFC Chicken, Caesar Salad, and Dirty Burger, are accompanied by Ricciola Ceviche, a Mediterranean fish served with leche de tigre, polpettine – miniature meatballs – and Brick Chicken ‘alla cacciatora’. Italian flavours and ingredients run throughout the menu, paying homage to the country’s culinary traditions, along with an extensive wine list of Italian and global options to be enjoyed throughout club spaces.
